Coming Soon in Audio!

Where the Light Is Brighter is the touching, bittersweet story of life in a fictional long-term care facility, told mostly through the sharp eyes of 98-year-old Edith, who has an opinion on everything—and everyone—and a lifetime of memories to cherish and share with her new friends. The book shatters stereotypes and preconceived notions about aging as we meet a group of forever young-at-heart folks who greet their final years with verve, spirit, and grace, enlarging our hearts as they enliven River's Edge—the place they call home. With two performers (Barbara Eden and June Squibb) in their mid-90s, and others in their 70s, the audio edition is in itself a counter to ageist stereotypes and beliefs.

Legendary icon (and everyone’s favorite genie) Barbara Eden . . .

…brings the role of 98-year-old Edith Sharp to life in an emotionally charged performance.

June Squibb, fresh from her starring role in Eleanor the Great and soon to go on Broadway . . .

. . . is unforgettable as Bruno, a lovable cad who drives his wheelchair like a race car as he chases all the ladies, including Edith.

From Dream Girls to Waiting to Exhale to Gray’s Anatomy, the inimitable Loretta Devine . . .

James Remar’s storied career in tv and film ranges from Dexter to Oppenheimer . . .
